There are a total of 3290 files. Some Japanese clips are included in the US version. These could be placeholders, duplicates, or cases where the Japanese version has more voice lines in a given situation. Further research is warrented, as we plan to decode the Japanese version as well. Some sound effects were also in this format and are included here as well under the type "SFX". They are almost certainly not all the sound effects used in the game.

Further features are planned, such as the ability to hide duplicates, searching, sorting, and filtering.

Every single English clip was individually verified in 2025. If you notice any inaccuracies, or would like to add more detail for the Japanese or SFX clips, please contact me.

These files were decoded with a software tool from a legitimately owned physical copy of Star Fox Assault. They are presented here for historical and research purposes. The files available were compressed from the original WAV files to a high bitrate MP3. There should be no detectable degredation of the audio quality from this conversion. If you would like a copy of the uncompressed WAV files, please contact me.

The data was originally decoded in 2015, with the initial project to annotate the clips starting on February 26th, 2015. The first completed version was publicly released on February 16th, 2025, almost 10 years later. Special thanks to Gagnetar for his assistance and all the unnamed volunteers who helped write all the dialog as a collaborative effort. Your effort has finally paid off!
